Mont Blanc Climb for Thusananga & Khaya Lokukhanya

This month Charles & James Weatherstone climbed the highest peak in Western Europe and raised lots of money for Thusananga HBCA & Khaya Lokukhanya! The trip was booked and paid for by the boys with Mont Blanc Guides and all of the money raised will benefit the projects here in South Africa. We are so proud of you both!!

It was a thrilling adventure starting with 2 days training and acclimatisation, ice climbing with some mountaineering practice scaling some of the smaller peaks in the French Alps (& ab sailing into Switzerland!!) The day came to climb Mont Blanc and they set off from the base camp at 4am, arriving at the top at 1030am exhausted but triumphant! ''It was the hardest thing, physically we have ever done and the most amazing experience - we would definitely do it again!!'' said the boys! Next stop the Matterhorn..........
