Blythe runs the Edinburgh Marathon for Thusananga & Khaya
Lokukhanya
Thank you for visiting my fund raising page - its not to
late to sponsor me.
I ran the Edinburgh
Marathon on 31st May on behalf of Thusananga
Home Based Care Association, whose aim is to help alleviate
some of the problems encountered by those affected and infected
by HIV in rural South Africa.
After visiting this project in the Eastern Cape, I became
very aware of the devastating effect HIV/AIDS continues to
have on so many lives there. I was shocked by the lack of
funding whether it be for preventative education about the
disease or for care of those who were actually suffering.
Me with Maggie and some of the clients of Thusananga HBCA,
Barkly East December 2007
Thank you for your
generosity - we have raised £1230 so far!
Donating
through this site is simple fast and totally secure, it is
also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Thusananga will
receive your money straight away. You can also feel confident
that all your money will go to those who need it most as Thusananga
works at the grassroots level without paid administrators.
Many thanks for your support.
